When I was in High School and Middle School, I was not in the public school system. Rather I was being home schooled using an online school called ‘Florida Virtual School’. Because I was home schooled and learning online, I got to choose my own classes and learn what interested me. In addition, I didn’t take the FCAT or anything like that so I was never being ‘taught the test’. Now, I’m an elementary education honors freshman at the University of Tampa, a private college with both national and international accreditation. already completely adjusted to college life. I credit this to the fact that I got to choose my classes and learned because I wanted to. I have felt pressured to learn something I didn’t want to learn and therefore there is not really anything I don’t want to learn. (Biology and Calculus excluded)
